Warranty

The GEOPTIK warranty covers the cost of spare parts and workmanship for 5 years from the date of purchase by its first user. Normal wear, or damage resulting from abuse, inexperienced, accident, alteration, misuse, service by an unauthorized party or shipping damage, are excluded from this warranty and are not covered. We do not accept any additional liability (except for loss or damage caused by our negligence to the extent this cannot by law be restricted or excluded). Geoptik Europe's option, will repair or replace the defective telescope covered by this warranty free of charge if it is returned, postage prepaid, to Geoptik Europe's service center in its original package with your name, family name, address, phone & fax number, E-mail. A Return Authorization Number (RAN) has to be obtained from Geoptik Europe prior to shipping to service@geoptik.com This Limited Warranty and Liability is governed by the laws of the Republic of Italy. If your telescope fails within the warranty period.

  • Prepare a description of the problem you have had.
  • Prepare a copy of your proof of purchase document (invoice or receipt) with one copy of first and last page of warranty
  • Send this documentation (by fax +39-02-700412083 or Mailto: service@geoptik.com) and ask the Return Authorization Number (RAN)
